Holi at Genpact in 2006

It was one of our RnR ceremony in office and we (Grindbreak Team) had the responsibility for organizing it. Holi was around so we planned to do it on a theme of a Hasya Kavi Sammelan. We named it "Bhang de Basanti". :)
For this, mujhe khoob saari poems likhni thi for every award. I managed to write for all, few with the help of some people. Sam, Anupma, Omen, Shailendra, aur Sumit Singla the uske kavi aur kavyitri. I was the "Sanchalika" of the Kavi Sammelan :)
All these poems were related to our office and the situations around us and were liked by everyone in the office and they still remember that RnR!
Below is the collection of all those poems....

Poem for a Special Award

Papa helped me in writing this poem. Actually he wrote all the lines and I did a few modifications as per our office's lingo. I narrated this poem in the kavi sammelan.

Aur ab baari ek khaas award ki,
Jisko paane ke reasons behisaab hain,
Aur unhein announe karne waale khud Amitabh hain!

Yeh koi mazaak nahin, na hi koi fraud hai,
Pichhli baar se shuru kiya gaya ek naya award hai!

Lekin, us se pehle ek chhoti si information hai,
Aap sab ka is award ke liye nomination hai!
Iske liye kai sting operation chalane pade,
Aur aaj bhi yahan kai chhupe camera lagaane pade!
Unki safalta par aap bhi muskurayenge,
Aur hamara daava hai ki dil khol kar taaliyaan bajayenge!
Humne kaha tha na ki yeh koi mazaak nahin na hi koi fraud hai,
Yeh toh mere doston! "Customer Recognition" award hai!
Toh shaamil ho jaayiye aur ek baar phir se taali bajayiye!
Hidden camera sab kuchh bata raha hai,
Aur kise yeh award milega woh aapke saamne aa raha hai!!

Few line on a Special award

These are the few lines that I wrote immediately 5 min before the program because we didn't know that there was some special award also that is going to be presented. So, when we were told about this, I wrote four lines for introducing this award.

Ab kuchh aisa award hai,
Jiski hamein aaj hi mili hai information!
Aur hum bhi bina wait kiye,
Aap tak laa rahe hain yeh communication!
Suna hai woh award hai bahut hi kamaal,
Aur announce karne aa rahi hain Renu Nagpal!!!

Poem for Team of the Month Award

This poem was everyone's favourite and was narrated by Sambhavika. She was Karchhi Kapoor in this and did a very good job of it! As her name suggests....yeh poem ek recipe hi thi...ek badiya CBT banane ki. :)

Aaiye aaj aapko elearning ki favourite mughlai CBT banana sikhate hain,
Jise hum SIPOC ki chatni aur SODA ke tel mein pakate hain!

Recipe itni mushkil nahin, bahut hi aasan hai,
Aur jo bhi ise banata hai woh apne aap mein mahaan hai!

Iske liye sabse pehle ek achha paka hua manager lein,
Jise thodi der client ke saath halka sa bhoon lein!

Isi se course mein swaad aata hai,
Jise baad mein khud manager apni ungliyaan chaat ker khaata hai!

Phir ek umda kism ka ID lein,
Aur use bada chammach A&D, LNA, Scoping, aur storyboarding ke beech ghol dein!

Ab do chaar swaadanusaar taaze GDs lein,
Jinehin is tayaar ghol mein achhi tarah lapet dein!

Ab in sab ko kuchh samay tak dheere dheere deadlines mein baareek pees lein,
Aur doosri ore kahin se mushkil se paaye jaane wale scriptor ko bhi ghisein!

Agar scriptor na mile toh kisi purane GD se hi kaam chala sakte hain,
Kyunki aajkal toh waise bhi sabhi reuse aur multisikilling hi karte hain!

Yaad rahe! Roz kisi tarah kintana ki baaltiyon ko bhi bharna hai,
Bhai...isi se toh aapko end mein apni dish ko garnish karna hai!

Ab dhyan se ismein FM aur FL ke essence ki bhi 2-3 boondein hi daaliyega,
Varna aapki dish ka swad toh bigdega aur ab tak jo kuchh kiya hai woh dobara karna padega!

Ab tayyaar ho jayein ismein QA ka tadkaa lagana hai,
Aapko uska swaad pasand aaye ya na aaye,
Par course banaane ki is parampara ko bhi toh nibhana hai!

Ismein chhonk zara dhyan se lagayein,
Kahin garma garam defects ki chheetein aap par na aa jayeing!

Bas tayyaar hai aapka lazzatdaar mughlai CBT course,
Jise aap chhod dein raam bharose,
Aur maze se Team of the Month ke nominations mein parosein!!

Poem for Functional Star WD

Ok....this poem was for the nomination of Functional Star WD and I had written it with the mix of bollywood songs that gives the picture of a WD's situation in our office :)
This was narrated by Omen who was Javabhai Toolswale in the Kavi Sammelan.

Mere paas aao mere doston ek kissa suno.....

Somvaar ka din tha, Khushnuma dopahar thi....
Naukri ki har site par mera CV uploaded the bas ek phone call ki intezaar thi!
Tabhi mobile ki ringtone baji....

Jhalak dhikhla ja, jhalak dikhla ja, ek baar aaja aaja aaja aaja aaja....

Maine jhoom ke phone uthaya, aur sun ke ho gaye mere kaan khade...
Bina soche samjhe apni profile uthaaye hum Genpact mein programmer ki job ke liye daud pade!!
Gaadi ke redlight par rukne par side ki car se gaane ki aawaaz sun meri himmat aur badi....

Chal padi chal padi chal padi, teri toh chal padi........

Interview mein unhone Java aur JSP ke saare methods poochh daale....
Hum bhi poore tope the saare jawaab confidently de daale!
10 min ke interview aur 5 ghante ke intezaar ke baad unhone hamara result HR ko thamaya...
Aur 2 ghante baad HR ne jab appointment letter hamare haath mein pakdaya...
Toh na jaane kyon achaanak hi ek gaana hamare dimaag mein aaya....

Golmal hai bhai sab golmal hai.....

Do din ke NHO ke baad jab hamein kaam pe lagaya...
Toh JSP toh door hamein Java ka J bhi nazar nahin aaya!
Humne kaha beta tumne khoob ghumaaya....
Java, JSP pooch ke mujhe xml aur HTML pe kaam karaya!
Aise mein mujhe yahi gaana yaad aaya....

Kya se kya ho gaya, bewafaaaaaaaaaa........

Phir ek din jab hamare US ke programer dost ke phone aaya...
Toh usne kaha ki hum toh dot net aur struts ke blaster hain...
Yeh sun humne bhi seena chaudha kar ke kaha...
Ismein kya badi baat hai, hum bhi yahan CCP master hain!!
Ab use kya pata ki yeh yeh logic toh hamari bilkul hi waste hai...
Yeh CCP aur kuchh nahin Cut Copy Paste hai! :(
